What are your favourite things to watch, play, read, or do?: I, like literally all of the other people on the planet, love watching Netflix and find myself filling the majority of my time on there watching EVERYTHING there is. I also love music SO much and I think that it is from music that I got my love of poetry, especially spoken word. This love manifests in how much I write and how much I read, because even since I was a tiny child I’ve read more books than I can count.

Your favourite creator(s)?: My favourite bands/musicians are Tyler, the creator, The Wombats, Nirvana and Melanie Martinez. I feel like my music taste is super broad but they’re the people I consume most music from. 
In terms of poets, my favourite ever is Neil Hilborn but I love other spoken word poets such as Denice Frohman, Savannah Brown and Dodie Clark.

How do you feel being involved in the first Young Person led publishing house?: I’m REALLY excited. I’ve wanted to be involved in something like this since I could write so now that I am I’m like ... bouncing-off-the-walls excited

What do you hope to get out of your time with Marginal?: I think ultimately I want to gain the skills to be able to continue to write and publish other things, including poetry books. I’m also really excited to work as part of a team that contribute such different skills.
